Heat Rejection Systems
The outdoor condenser must endure weather, debris, and temperature fluctuations while rejecting the heat absorbed from indoors. Inspection verifies the compressor's electrical draw, the condenser fan's operation, and the physical state of the exterior coils which must be free of obstruction.
Suitable Situations
- The outdoor fan is not spinning.
- Loud buzzing or grinding from the outside unit.
- The unit turns off abruptly due to overheating.
